Finishing your Latch Hook Rug using "Latch Hook Rug Binding"
To finish with Rug Binding, cut the canvas at least 3 holes beyond the outside edge of the design, then cut the corners diagonally away from the pile.
Then with right side facing you, sew one edge of the Rug Binding as close as possible to the knotted edge. Turn so the back is facing you, then fold back and sew the other edge of the Rug Binding to the back of the rug.
Mitre the corners and stitch down.
